Tornado Has Dissipated For Now, Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Shelby County

The tornado warning has been canceled for Shelby County.

Significant tornado damage was reported at Bent Brook on I-59 near McCalla. There is other damage reported in the Eastern Valley area west of McCalla. Mutual aid has been requested by their Fire Department for the area around Pocahontas Road.

Several homes are damaged in the area.
