Busy as a bee tonight looking at new data, getting ready for the 10:00 TV News on ABC 33/40, and getting set for our first snow accumulation forecast map, which we will release with the early morning discussion tomorrow.

Scroll down for some cool winter weather pictures, and J.B.’s travel forecast for Alabama fans headed for California.

A couple of things…

*We have moved the live chat to this new page; when we have to go to a high traffic mode on the blog, the chat page will remain open and unaffected.

*With any winter storm situation, there will be surprises. Be ready for some last minute twists and turns before the event begins Thursday.

*I have received a number of e-mails about what Paul Finebaum said about me on his radio show today. Bottom line is that I don’t have any comment; I don’t know why he gets so worked up over weather coverage on a sports show, but that is his business. I didn’t hear his program today, but I understand I was called a “fraud” and a “liar”. The best way to determine ones character is to ask those around them; I welcome Paul to come along on school visits, ministry trips, or spend some time here at work. That way he can ask those around me if they agree with his assessment. And, I challenge Paul to take the CBM exam and see how he scores. Now that would be fun. I hope Paul has a safe trip back and maybe we can talk about it later this year. He clearly doesn’t understand who I am or what I do.

The morning Weather Xtreme video and discussion will be posted by 6:30 a.m. Stay tuned!
