Tornado Warnings in Mississippi (One Not Far Away from NW Alabama)

The NWS in Memphis has just issued a Tornado Warning for Itawamba and Tishomingo Counties in NE Mississippi till 8:15 PM CST …AT 752 PM CST…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING A TORNADO NEAR EVERGREEN…OR 6 MILES SOUTHEAST OF TOMBIGBEE STATE PARK…MOVING NORTHEAST AT 65 MPH.

It is affecting Fulton and will be near or just north of Tremont shortly.

This storm will move into northwestern Marion and Franklin Counties, affecting places like Vina and Bexar as it moves east northeast.

IN SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI
Conflicting reports indicate that a tornado is now on the ground near Columbia MS. Tornado warning now for Covington, Jefferson Davis, Lamar and Marion Counties in Mississippi till 9:00 PM CST …AT 758 PM CST…A TORNADO WAS INDICATED NEAR COLUMBIA…AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.
