At 7:30 PM CDT, Doppler Radar Was Tracking Strong Thunderstorms Along A Line Extending From Near Bankhead Lock And Dam To Near Brookwood To Near Moundville. Movement Was East At 35 Mph. Winds Up To 40 Mph Will Be Possible With These Storms.
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
At 6:55 pm, we have a few scattered strong storms across North/Central Alabama… one of which has prompted a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for parts of Bibb County until 7:30 pm this evening.

At 6:32 PM CDT, Doppler Radar Was Tracking Strong Thunderstorms Along A Line Extending From Near Mertz To Near Arcola. Movement Was Northeast At 35 Mph. Winds 30 To 40 Mph Will Be Possible With These Storms. The Heavy Rainfall May Casue Some Minor Flooding.
At 6:27 PM CDT, Doppler Radar Was Tracking A Strong Thunderstorm Over Johnston Lake, Or Near Carrollton, Moving East At 25 Mph. Pea Size Hail And Winds 30 To 40 Mph Will Be Possible With This Storm.
At 6:05 PM CDT, Doppler Radar Was Tracking Strong Thunderstorms Along A Line Extending From Greensboro To Near Uniontown. Movement Was Northeast At 40 Mph. Winds 30 To 40 Mph Will Be Possible With These Storms.
At 6:03 PM CDT, Doppler Radar Was Tracking Strong Thunderstorms Along A Line Extending From Millport To Near Reform To Pickensville. Movement Was Northeast At 30 Mph. Winds 30 To 40 Mph Will Be Possible With These Storms.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are lined up in a disorganized line along and just east of the AL/MS state line. Gusty winds, plenty of cloud-to-ground lightning, and heavy downpours are occurring along this entire group of storms.
