At 605 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Susan Moore, or 8 miles northeast of Oneonta, moving northeast at 45 mph.
There are now reports of multiple trees down along 231 near Rosa, north of Oneonta at Highway 33. Troopers report a tornado touch down there.
The risk for tornadoes, a couple of which could become strong and particularly damaging, is expected to continue to increase through mid to late evening as an organizing squall line overspreads the region.
At 545 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Fairview, or over Cleveland, moving northeast at 35 mph.
Possible tornado just northeast of Clanton will move in the general direction of Sylacauga.
At 540 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Shawnee, or near Thomasville, moving northeast at 40 mph.
At 522 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Thomaston, or 10 miles southeast of Linden, moving northeast at 35 mph.
Locust Fork, Hayden, Nectar, Cleveland, Dallas, Selfville, Oneonta, and Lehigh are in the polygon.
At 515 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Paul M Grist State Park, or near Valley Grande, moving northeast at 30 mph.
At 500 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Billingsley, or 13 miles northeast of Valley Grande, moving northeast at 40 mph.
A confirmed tornado is passing near Sweet Water. It will move northeast passing over US-43 near or south of Linden, then move toward Thomaston and Dayton.
At 444 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
This potential tornado is passing just north of Burnsville. It will pass near James, and eventually near Billingsley, and eventually into extreme southern Chilton County near Jemison.
