New Tornado Watch For Southwest Alabama

A tornado watch has been issued for coastal Mississippi, Southwest Alabama and the western Florida Panhandle.

The airmass is destabilizing in the watch area and storms will continue to intensify through the morning.

A tornado warning is in effect for counties southeast of Hattiesburg in SE Mississippi.

FLOOD ADVISORY
The NWS in Birmingham has issued a flood advisories for parts of Lamar, Marion and Winston Counties. Radar indicates 2-4 inches of rain has already fallen from Sulligent to Natural Bridge. The heavy amounts extend up to near Hackleburg.
