The Winfield NOAA Weatheradio is off the air. Technicians are working to get it up and running ASAP.

Hopefully it will return quickly. If not, make sure you have an alternate source for warnings tonight. Unfortunately, there just isn’t good coverage from any other WR station.

A new tornado watch has been issued for northern Mississippi, a row of counties in southern Tennessee and Franklin, Colbert and Lauderdale Counties in Northwest Alabama. It goes until 11 p.m.

Storems are really intensifying across Louisiana and Mississippi. Two tornadoes have been reported on the ground, one west of Winnsboro LA and the other north of Morton in Scott County, MS.

Scroll down for James’ analysis of tonight’s severe weather event.

More information all night long.
