Has Ike Slowed a Bit?

Plotting the geometric center of the hurricane eye seems to show a movement of 10 miles in 1 hour and 45 minutes…or a little more than 6 miles per hour…to the northwest…could the storm be getting ready to make the turn to the north…or is it just a wobble…we will have to see…

Anymore time over water is not a good thing as the hurricane has gotten much more organized in the past six hours…and we don’t want those winds to catch up with the pressure…

The center is 60 miles SSE of Galveston. We may have to revise our landfall estimate back more…
