Feels Like Spring…Will Feel Like Fall…

It almost feels like a spring afternoon out there across Alabama.

Cloudy, windy humid and warm. Almost feels like tornado weather.

But fortunately no tornadoes.

Unfortunately, hardly any rain either.

Showers are scattered across Northwest Alabama and the Tennessee Valley.

To the south, heavier showers and a little thunder extends from Pickens and Sumter Counties back into Kemper and Lauderdale Counties in Mississippi. This activity is pushing east northeast.

Drier air aloft is eating the activity as it moves into Alabama. The cold front is entering Northwest Alabama and will overspread the area overnight. Drier air will spread in behind it and we will experience a taste of fall this week.
