Alabama Weather Update…10:45 p.m.

Showers and storms have developed over West Alabama tonight along the Mississippi border.

It covers much of Lamar and northern Fayette Counties, moving into Marion County.

More showers and storms are over Kemper and Lauderdale Counties in eastern Mississippi, extending into Sumter and Marengo Counties.

The activity should continue into the early morning hours. It is being caused by an upper trough over the Arklatex.
