Storms Moving Through Birmingham Area; Not Severe

| February 8, 2017 @ 8:41 pm

Storms are moving through the Birmingham Metro at this hour. They are generally between I-59 and I-459.

Lots of heavy rain, some gusty winds. But little lightning and no hail.

Other storms are south of Albertville and approaching Ashville in St. Clair County.

The tornado watch continues for several Central Alabama Counties, but will be cleared soon for areas behind the line. Current counties are outlined in magenta on the graphic.
