Heads up Marion; NE Mississippi Storm Prompts Severe Thunderstorm Warning

The storms over northeastern Mississippi have made me eat my words over the past fifteen minutes, intensifying markedly and prompting a severe thunderstorm warning for Itawamba County.

60 mph winds and quarter sized hail. There is some rotation in the storm.

This storm will begin affecting Marion County before 6 p.m.

Another strong storm is passing into Franklin County south of Red Bay. It is not severe at this time.
