Looking at Severe Weather Reports to the Northwest

So far, here is a breakdown of the severe weather reports from today:

149 TOTAL SEVERE WEATHER REPORTS

2 TORNADO REPORTS
…one 3 miles east of Butterfield in Barry County Missouri. That is in the SW corner of the state west of Branson. That was around 7 p.m. tonight.
…the other has at Hickman, Kentucky about 8:41 p.m. CST.

127 HAIL REPORTS
Hail has been widespread with the thunderstorm complex from eastern Kansas and northeastern Oklahoma into Tennessee. There have been 10 “significant” hail reports including 3 inch hail near Carrytown MO. There were 3 reports of baseball sized hail in Missouri as well.

8 of the hail reports were from eastern Mississippi and Northwest Alabama.

14 WIND DAMAGE REPORTS SO FAR
…Mainly across southern Missouri into western Kentucky and Tennessee.
…There were two wind damage reports in eastern Mississippi: A traffic light was downed in Starkville and trees were downed in Amory.
