Paloma A Major Hurricane

Hurricane Paloma has become a category three hurricane tonight.

LOCATION…18.9 N…81.1 W…OR 30 MILES SOUTH OF GRAND CAYMAN
MOVEMENT…NNE 6
MAX WINDS…115 MPH
CENTRAL PRESSURE…962 MB

Paloma’s eyewall will brush Grand Cayman. The center may pass very near Little Cayman or Cayman Brac.

The storm is turning to the NE and will each the Central Cuban coast around midnight tomorrow night.

It should weaken slowly during the next 24 hours and be sheared apart after crossing Cuba. It may not even exist by late Monday.
