Rain Increasing

| November 14, 2008 @ 6:17 pm | Reply

Rain continues to increase in aerial coverage and intensity across the western half of Alabama. We also note a little lightning on our network over South Tuscaloosa County at 6:15.

The good news is that there isn’t a major mass of convection down on the Alabama coast at this point, so hopefully we will get one-half to one inch of rain, as suggested by the models. So far, the rain total at our Tuscaloosa SKYCAM is around a quarter-inch.

If you are headed out to a high school playoff game tonight, take the rain gear….
