Showers to Diminish

The radar has looked like it has the chicken pox since late morning across Central Alabama with numerous light to moderate popcorn showers occurring.

The showers are moving southeast in a northwesterly flow aloft.

The showers will diminish as the sun goes down and the relative instability decreases.

Skies will also slowly clear overnight. Readings overnight will make it into the lower and middle 30s overnight. Full sunshine is expected tomorrow, but tempertaures may struggle to make it out of the 40s with a cool north wind.

The week ahead with be dry and cool, with a couple of reinforcing shots of cold air. Next big rain chance may come around Thanksgiving or just beyond.
