One Thunderstorm–Noon Update

Maybe I should not call it pesky because it is giving a narrow strip of North Central Alabama some welcome rain.

At 12-noon, the storm had already crossed I-65 at Cullman and was moving almost due east near or just north of U.S 278 through NE Cullman County. It was moving generally toward Fairview, Baileyton and Jason Simpson’s hometown of Holly Pond.

Small hail at the Cullman Regional Medical Center near I-65 and Highway 257 when it moved across that area.

Jason Simpson has received a later report of golf ball size hail near the Cullman Hospital.
