Strong Storm Affecting Marshall County

At 4:57 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of heavy rainfall near Arab, moving east around 10 mph. Locally heavy downpours are likely with this rainfall near Arab and Union Grove. Around one to two inches of rainfall have already fallen and an additional inch is possible through 6 PM CDT.

A SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY has been issued for Central Marshall County until 6:00PM.

Locations impacted include…
Guntersville, Arab, Union Grove, Columbus City, Lake Guntersville State Park, Eddy, Hustleville and Mountain View.

Very heavy rainfall is occurring with this activity and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
