Thanks to Kurt Wirth for these images… he writes:

“Here are some pics of some flooding in Columbus, Miss. This is by FAR the highest I’ve seen the water level, as this entire river-side park is completely submerged by as much as 3 feet of water. The entire parking lot was swimming and there were numerous tables, patios, and sections of pathway poking out of the water of the Tombigbee River.”
