Severe Weather Risk Downgraded Slightly for Alabama

| February 24, 2018 @ 7:22 pm

The Storm Prediction Center has downgraded the severe weather outlook over the state for the rest of the night.

The slight risk area has now been trimmed back to include only the northwestern corner of the state. The marginal risk area still extends down to generally I-59, including much of the Birmingham Metro, as well as Tuscaloosa.

Storms will weaken as they move into Alabama later tonight but gusty winds are still possible.
