At 224 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles south of Cowan to 6 miles east of
Smith Dam. Movement was east at 40 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Albertville, Cullman, Scottsboro, Boaz, Guntersville, Arab,
Rainsville, Bridgeport, Hanceville and Henagar.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
