Areal Flood Advisory Issued For Parts Of Bullock, Macon, And Montgomery Counties Until 1:30PM

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Poor Drainage Areas for…
    Bullock County in southeastern Alabama…
    Southern Macon County in southeastern Alabama…
    Northeastern Montgomery County in south central Alabama…

* Until 130 PM CDT.

* At 1136 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms was spreading across the area. Rainfall of up to an inch and a half has already fallen in localized areas and another one to two inches is possible during the next hour. Localized flooding of streets and roadways can be expected in the area…especially near small creeks and streams and in low-lying flood prone areas with poor drainage.

    Tuskegee, Union Springs, Midway, Milstead, Pike Road, Shorter, Franklin, Aberfoil, Franklin Field, Guerryton, Davisville, Waugh, Liverpool, Hardaway, Tysonville, Victoryland, Warriorstand, Fort
