TALLAPOOSA AND NORTHWESTERN CHAMBERS COUNTIES UNTIL 445 PM CDT…
At 349 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Crystal Lake to near Malone to near New
Site. Movement was east at 15 mph.
Half inch hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Roanoke, Wedowee, Stroud, New Site, Wadley, Malone, Abanda, Crystal
Lake, Welch, Penton, Sparkling Springs, Daviston, Dickert, Tennant,
Rock Mills, Big Springs, Paran, Roanoke Municipal Airport and Rock
Stand.
