Beware the Comma Head

| March 26, 2009 @ 6:40 am | 151 Replies

What appears to be a comma head signature has developed on the line of storms over in East Alabama. It is in th Heflin vicinity.

The line has kinked up in this area and the result is something that looks like the end of a shepherds crook. This signature can produce brief spinup tornadoes.

A severe thunderstorm warning continues for Cleburne, Clay and Randolph Counties. Our friends over in Carroll County in Georgia need to be alert also as this line of storms approaches. They mean business.
