At 1233 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bynum, or near Cobb Town, moving east at 35 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Anniston, Oxford, Heflin, West End-Cobb Town, Munford, Hobson City,
Grant Town, Anniston Regional Airport, Oxford Lake, Bynum, Anniston
Army Depot, Hollis Crossroads, Dearmanville, Chalafinnee, Jenifer and
Camp Sequoyah.
