…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHEASTERN CALHOUN AND
SOUTHEASTERN CHEROKEE COUNTIES UNTIL 500 PM CDT…
At 416 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Hokes Bluff to near Piedmont to near
Pleasant Gap. Movement was east at 15 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Piedmont, Forney, Glencoe, Pleasant Gap, Ball Flat, Coloma, Knightens
Crossroads and Spring Garden.
