The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

    Northeastern Bibb County in central Alabama…
    Southwestern Jefferson County in central Alabama…

* Until 1230 PM CDT.

* At 1023 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area due to recent heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours across this area. Doppler radar estimates that nearly one and a half inches of rain has fallen over the past hour across portions of the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
    Northeastern Tuscaloosa, Bessemer, Hueytown, Holt, Pleasant Grove, Brighton, Lake View, Brookwood, Coaling, Sylvan Springs, Vance, Woodstock, West Blocton, North Johns, Bull City, Lake Wildwood, Mercedes Benz Of Alabama, North Bibb, Tannehill Ironworks State
