…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN PICKENS…CENTRAL
GREENE AND CENTRAL SUMTER COUNTIES UNTIL 745 AM CDT…
At 701 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
New West Greene, or 12 miles south of Aliceville, moving southeast at
35 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Eutaw, Aliceville, Forkland, Boligee, Gainesville, Epes, New West
Greene, Panola, Allison, Walden Quarters, West Greene, Bluffport,
Thornhill, Tishabee, Gainesville Lake Campground, Warsaw, New Mount
Hebron, Clinton, George Downer Airport and Pleasant Ridge.
