Rogue because I thought this afternoon showers and storms would be mainly along and south of US-82.

The storm is south of Sumiton in eastern Walker County and will move into northwestern Jefferson County. It has a good bit of lightning and brief heavy rain.

It is part of a line of showers from Mount Olive in northern Jefferson County to near Sumiton back to near Berry in Fayette County.

Other are forming across eastern Tuscaloosa County and down into Bibb County.

Showers and storms will be hard to come today. If you find yourself under one, be thankful for the cooling, but watch out for the lightning.
