Dewpoints a’droppin’
Check out the difference in dew points between Montgomery and Birmingham, a distance of just around 90 miles…
Drier air is flowing into Alabama behind a cold front. Winds are out of the northwest now over the northern half of the state. Those dew points indicate where your lows will be by morning, mainly in the lower and middle 40s. Skies will clear during the morning hours.
A sold line of storms now is cutting across South Central Alabama with a couple of big storms out ahead of the main line. Two tornado warnings continue for Bullock and Russell Counties. A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for the Montgomery area.
