Cahaba Lillies; Another Photo…

Thanks to Dave Jones for this images of the Lillies on the Cahaba… he writes:

“This photo taken last week. See them soon or wait till next year. Directions are on the link on the last post. Another way to get there is go West six miles on Hwy 25 from Montevallo, Turn right on to Bull Dog Bend Road (just past Brierfield Iron Works Park, look for sign pointing to West Blocton) follow Bull Dog Bend Road to stop sign, turn left on to county road 26 or Chahba River Road, travel West just past bridge that crosses the Chahba River you see the entrance to the Cahaba Preserve on left. The road has been smoothed out and covered with gravel for about a mile but after that its a rough dirt road that is better suited for a higher riding pick up truck or SUV.
