Dense Fog in Valleys and Near Waterways

| November 18, 2018 @ 5:17 am

Dense fog has developed overnight in valleys and along waterways across central and Northeast Alabama.

The NWS in Birmingham has a dense fog advisory for their counties and the NWS in Huntsville has one up for Jackson, Marshall and DeKalb Counties in Northeast Alabama.

Visibilities in spots will drop suddenly to less than 1/4 mile which can make driving hazardous. Use low beams and keep plenty of room between you and the car in front of you.

Conditions should improve by 8-9 a.m.
