Alabaster Residents… Boil Water Notice Issued By Alabaster Water

| December 12, 2018 @ 12:04 pm

The Alabaster Water Board has issued a Boil Water Notice for all Alabaster Water customers for a minimum of 48 hours due to a major water main break. The break and loss of water pressure have occurred along US-31 and CR-68. Crews are already on scene and are working to restore full service as soon as possible.

Be sure to follow these important steps to ensure that your water is safe to use…

1. Bring tap water to a rolling boil

2. Allow the water to boil for at least one minute

3. Allow water to cool before using

During the next 48 hours, Alabaster residents are suggested to use either boiled or bottled water for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and food preparation.
