Saturday Afternoon Update: Remaining Cloudy

| December 15, 2018 @ 1:39 pm

A pesky upper-level low continues to spin across North Alabama today and that continues to keep us cloudy, chilly, breezy, and is even providing pockets of light rain and drizzle across the much of the area.

Temperatures this afternoon are ranging from the upper 40s to lower and mid 50s, and we are seeing a few peeks of sunshine in a few locations, but for the most part it remains cloudy for all of Alabama.

FOR TONIGHT: Clouds will continue to linger and pockets of light rain and drizzle will continue to be a threat across North/Central Alabama. Expect a chilly night with lows generally in the lower and mid 40s.

FOR TOMORROW: The upper-low finally pulls away from the area and drier air should begin to work into the area so we will be dry, but the clouds look to linger much of the day, with perhaps some sunshine as we head into tomorrow afternoon. The high tomorrow should be in the mid 50s. .

NICE START TO WEEK: The first half of the week will be dry with seasonal temperatures. Through Wednesday, we should see days full of sunshine with high in the upper 50s and lower 60s, while nights will be clear and chilly with lows in the mid 30s.
