| December 31, 2018 @ 9:16 am

NWS Huntsville has issued a Wind Advisory for Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, and Morgan counties until 6:00 pm this evening.

Winds could gust as high as 40 MPH today even before any thunderstorm activity moves into the state from the west. Those winds could be strong enough to blow around any unsecured outdoor furniture and empty containers. Also, with the already saturated ground, a few trees could easily be knocked down with any stronger wind gusts.
