Storms 25 Miles North of Birmingham

Our line of storms is pushing southward toward Birmingham tonight.

I thought it was going to slide east of the metro, but it now appears that some of the activity could make it into parts of the Birmingham metro.

Storms reach from Arley to Double Springs to The Colony to Altoona to Reece City.

It is pushing south at around 18 mph.

There is lightning along the line, but it has diminished some. Overall intensity has diminished.

The line will lay down a boundary as it runs out of steam that could produce more storms later tonight or tomorrow.
