Flood Watch Extended A Little Farther South In Central Alabama

NWS Birmingham has added several more counties to the Areal Flood Watch that was issued on Monday. Those added counties are Bibb, Calhoun, Clay, Cleburne, Shelby, and Talladega.

The Areal Flood Watch continues for Blount, Cherokee, Etowah, Fayette, Jefferson, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, St. Clair, Tuscaloosa, Walker, Winston counties in Central Alabama until 6:00 am Friday.

The Areal Flood Watch has been extended until 6:00 pm Friday for Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, and Morgan counties in North Alabama.
