At 439 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lake Buttahatchee, or 8 miles southwest of Haleyville, moving
northeast at 75 mph.
Penny size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Decatur, Russellville, Moulton, Phil Campbell, Littleville, Mt Hope,
Chalybeate Springs, La Grange, Speake and Tharptown.
