Still Mostly Cloudy At Midday But Sun Is Peeking Through

| April 5, 2019 @ 12:18 pm

The clouds are starting to break over Centra Alabama at the noon hour and some sunshine is finally starting to reach the surface. Only some drizzle and very light sprinkles showing up out there across the area, but not enough to cause any worries… especially out at Barber Motorsports Park. It is absolutely beautiful and mild out here if you don’t mind some clouds.

We should continue to get some clearing throughout the remainder of the daylight hours ending up with a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures will be very nice for early April topping out in the 70s across the area. For tonight, skies will be mostly cloudy and there is a very small risk of a stray shower or two across the southeastern-thirds of the area. Lows will be down in the mid-50s to the mid-60s.

We’ll have more clouds than sun throughout the day on Saturday with a chance of a few afternoon scattered showers or thunderstorms across the area, with the activity more likely in the southern half of Central Alabama. Highs will top out in the upper 70s to the lower 80s across the area.
