…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHWESTERN TUSCALOOSA AND
SOUTHEASTERN FAYETTE COUNTIES UNTIL 700 PM CDT…
At 618 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Binion Creek Landing to 7 miles northeast
of Gordo. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.
Dime size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Berry, Bankston, Samantha, Binion Creek Landing, Boley Springs,
Whitson, Lake Tuscaloosa, Moores Bridge, Windham Springs, Fayette
County Public Lake, New Lexington, Tierce Pattton Bridge, Wiley,
Highway 69 Bridge and Sexton Bend.
