…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR PICKENS AND NORTHWESTERN GREENE
COUNTIES UNTIL 130 AM CDT…
At 1251 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Bevill Lock And Dam to near Union. Movement was
north at 45 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Aliceville, Gordo, Reform, Carrollton, Pickensville, Union,
Ethelsville, McMullen, Benevola, Johnston Lake, Bevill Lock And Dam,
Garden, Mantua, Jena, Snoddy, Dillburg, Shaw, George Downer Airport,
Kirk and Pleasant Ridge.
