| April 17, 2019 @ 12:38 pm

Two more tornadoes have been confirmed from NWS Birmingham in the southwestern parts of the area. Here is the list of those locations:

EF0 – Gallion (Hale County)
EF0 – Highway 219 (Perry County)

That now brings the grand total to 13 confirmed tornadoes that occurred during Sunday’s severe storm event. NWS Birmingham is still in the process of determining if damage in Marion County could be another tornado track. We’ll know about that one later today.

For 2019, we are now up to 53 confirmed tornadoes… the busiest tornado season at this point since 2011.
