Tornado Watch Until 8 a.m. CDT for South/Southeast Alabama
A tornado watch has been issued for much of South and Southeast Alabam, as well as adjacent portions of Florida and Georgia.
The watch will be in effect until 8 a.m. CDT.
Counties in the Birmingham NWS areas of responsibility include: Barbour, Bullock, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Pike, and Russell.
Severe thunderstorm watch continues for Chambers County until 2 a.m. CDT.
