The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Flood Advisory for…
    Central Lee County in east central Alabama…
    Eastern Macon County in southeastern Alabama…

* Until 700 AM CDT.

* At 403 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
    Auburn, Opelika, Tuskegee, Smiths, Smiths Station, Lake Tuskegee, Tuskegee National Forest, Beauregard, Davisville, Society Hill, Bleecker, Griffen Mill, Ladonia, Goat Rock Lake, Warriorstand, I 85
    Rest Area, Fort Davis, Creek Stand, Monterey Heights and Chewacla
    State Park.
    Additional rainfall of one to one and one-half inches is expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
