Strong Storms Over Northeast Alabama, Other Storms Over South Central Part of State

Strong storms continue this evening over Northeast Alabama.

The heaviest activity is over Etowah county. It is storming in places like Attalla and Reece City up Highway 431 to Sardis City.

Additional storms are over DeKalb County. The heaviest is moving into the Fort Payne area.

Lots of lightning and heavy rain. Some gusty winds as well. But the storms are not severe. They are moving north northeast.

Over South Central Alabama, storms are in the Selma area. They arc down through Wilcox County into Butler County near Greenville. Not severe, just rain, lightning, and gusty winds.
