Heads up for southern Lamar County as a strong storm with winds up to and exceeding 40 MPH is moving through.

At 319 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Steens, or 9 miles west of Millport, moving north at 45 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include…
Vernon, Millport, Kennedy, Blooming Grove, Bedford, Cody, Star,
Hightogy, Lamar County Public Lake and Melborne.
