Severe Thunderstorm Watch Coming Shortly For Parts Of North/Central Alabama

NWS Huntsville just got off a conference call with the Storm Prediction Center and a Severe Thunderstorm Watch will be issued for the western parts of North/Central Alabama around or just after 10:30 pm tonight. At this point, it looks to include the western counties in the area from the AL/TN state line down to at least Sumter County and as far east as Madison County to Chilton County. We’ll have the exact details of the watch when it is issued.
