…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHEASTERN SHELBY AND
SOUTHWESTERN ST. CLAIR COUNTIES UNTIL 230 PM CDT…
At 200 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Bald Rock to near Vandiver. Movement was
east at 20 mph.
Pea size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these
storms.
Locations impacted include…
Pell City, Leeds, Moody, Vincent, Bald Rock, Logan Martin Lake,
Vandiver, Coosa Island, Branchville, Sterrett, Chula Vista, Camp
Winnataska and Cropwell.
