…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN WALKER COUNTY UNTIL
215 PM CDT…
At 142 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Dora to 6 miles northwest of Oak Grove.
Movement was north at 10 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Sumiton, Cordova, Dora, Parrish, Sipsey, Gorgas Steam Plant, Rocky
Hollow, Burnwell, Beloit, Quinton, Gorgas, Lynns Park, Goodsprings,
Barney, The Wye and Tutwiler.
