CENTRAL BIBB AND SOUTH CENTRAL JEFFERSON COUNTIES UNTIL 430 PM CDT…
At 352 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Tannehill Ironworks State Park, or 7 miles west of Helena. This storm
was nearly stationary.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Southwestern Birmingham, Hoover, Bessemer, Helena, Hueytown, North
Johns, Splash Adventure, McCalla, Promenade Tannehill, Bent Brook
Golf Club, McAdory, Bessemer Airport and Lake Cyrus.
